Das ist aber ungefähr die selbe, spätmykenische Zeit.  Die Figuren und Zeichnungen sind toll, aber wie üblich sieht man nur die wenigen schwer Gerüsteten. Ich bezweifele außerdem etwas, daß Dendra-ähnliche Panzer im Fußkampf getragen wurden. Trotzdem eine Augenweide. |

The total weight of Dendra panoply was no more than 20 Kg furthermore some high fidelity reconstructions have demonstrate how this panoply, despite the huge aspect, was enough flexible and confortable to be used also during fightings on foot and not, as mostly people belief, exclusively by warriors fighting from the chariots. This experimental reconstruction led also to the conclusion that it allowed fighting with a sword but not necessarily (because its large shoulder guard wings) with bow or spear. The improved version of the Dendra panoply found in Thebes dated around 1300-1250 BC was also more confortable. All fonts as well as Linear B analysis and reasonable archaeological based reconstructions about the armour used in the Mycenaean period are in this page. http://www.salimbeti.com/micenei/armour1.htm For what concern the Mycenaean figurines they are reasonably based on the few Greek/Anatolian bronze age archaeological evidences and pictorial pottery (armour, helmets, greaves, shields etc..) sometimes compared also with Homer descriptions.
